Vanadinite with Quartz, Ruby Star Mine, Radium, Burch area, Globe Hills Mining District, Globe-Miami Mining District, Gila County, Arizona, USA RARE OCCURRENCE
Lustrous, translucent red-orange vanadinite crystals on a quasi-smoky-quartz crystal matrix from a relatively obscure locality in the world-famous Globe-Miami Mining District. Only four specimens appear in the Mindat photo archives. As of this posting, I have two of these “old-timers” available.
