A richly appointed - and rare - combination piece featuring bright lavender microcrystals of sugilite paired with starkly contrasting, glassy white, acicular pectolite. Sugilite is a rare and exceptionally beautiful K-Na-Li-Fe-Mn-Al-Zr-silicate with the finest specimens sourced from the world-class Wessels Mine. Most folks are familiar with pectolite as the semi-precious gemstone Larimar. It is reported that pectolite is quite rare from the Kalahari Mn fields, let alone its combination association with sugilite.
