Turquoise blue, translucent, mm-scale botryoids of the aluminum phosphate, Planerite, are paired with optically pure quartz microscrystals on chert of the Ordovician Bigfork Chert formation. Planerite is a rare member of the Turquoise Group. Dimensions: 7 x 4 x 5 cm (Small Cabinet). Minor condition issues were created due to the difficult extraction at the quarry. Self-standing.
