Libethenite with Plancheite and Pseudomalachite, Kambove Mine, Katanga, DRC
A very showy, sparkling, and strikingly three-dimensional small cabinet specimen of gemmy, lustrous libethenite with a nicely contrasting light brown limonite gossan. The Libethenite is complemented by powder blue Plancheite and lovely, sub-mm size botryoids of a translucent aqua-blue species, most likely pseudomalachite. This terrific specimen is self standing.
