Beautiful moss-green botryoidal aggregates of microcrystalline Kolwezite, accented by sprays of acicular Malachite on a nicely contrasting groundmass of cobaltoan calcite. Kolwezite, an uncommon secondary mineral in the oxidation zone of some Cu–Co deposits, was not described until 1980. There are about ten known localities worldwide.
