Dioptase with Plancheite and Drusy Quartz, Tantara Mine, DR Congo
A fabulous specimen presenting a lustrous group of large, emerald-green dioptase crystals topped with a sprinkling of sparkly, water-clear quartz crystals. The presentation is accented by a basal layer of light blue plancheite with calcite. Sourced directly from notable Tsumeb collector Clive Queit almost forty years ago, and has been in a private collection ever since.
