Dioptase with Plancheite and Drusy Quartz, Tantara Mine, DR Congo
An exceptional, self-standing specimen presenting a group of large, lustrous emerald-green dioptase crystals topped with a sprinkling of sparkly, water-clear quartz crystals. The presentation is accented by a rim and center piece of light blue plancheite. The unusual triangular geometry complements the visual aesthetics. Sourced directly from notable Tsumeb collector Clive Queit almost forty years ago, and has been in a private collection ever since.
