Chrysocolla Ps. Selenite, Ray Mine, Scott Mountain, Pinal County, Arizona, USA
An intriguing specimen of Chrysocolla as a pseudomorph after Selenite, presenting both linear and botryoidal architecture while preserving the original bladed form. Cutaways reveal subtle compositional banding due to variations in molecular content, s.a. copper. The typewritten label places the specimen in the 1960s to 1970s.
