Baryte with Malachite, Shangulowé Mine, Kambove, Lualaba, DRC
A compound crystal with well-terminated, translucent to clear chisel points, adorned with kelly-green malachite druse. Some crystals are clipped, but remain visually appealing. Mindat states this now-exhausted locality produced the best baryte crystal clusters in Congo. Specimens from this classic site are hard to find, most having disappeared into collections.
